. . . since moving back to Weymouth after 25 years away on Portland I found myself living right next to the Rodwell Trail - a disused railway line that I first used when it still had the track in place!
Now it's a footpath and cycle track linking Portland to Weymouth town centre, much used by local residents to walk their dogs and to walk to work or shops.
I suspect that most users of the trail have little idea of how much wildlife they are passing. Which is what this web site is about . . .
