Bob Ford's Video Blog
Wednesday November 19th 2014
I spent today fruitlessly searching the fields around Langton Herring for a little bustard that had been seen a few miles away the day before.
As I was emerging from a path through a hedge these two roe deer came walking towards me, disturbed by the blast from a bird-scarer in their field.
They had no idea I was there.
Looking to my left from the same spot I could see these four goosanders fishing in the shallows of Herbury Bay.
The fields nearby were full of brent geese stealing the farmer's autumn cereal.
Hopefully no-one will find a little bustard running around in the background...
